BIMites PAINT THEMSELVES IN ‘COLORS OF JOY’
Trichy, 24th March: Colour was the order of the day. The celebrations started in the morning with the music waking up BIMites earlier than usual. The budding managers soon put huge inventories of colours, both dry and wet, to optimal use. ’Unity in Diversity’ was colourfully exemplified, as after an hour of smearing bright powders and squirting coloured water at each other, identification became nearly impossible.
Exhausting hours of playing were followed by some pet-pooja. Everyone’s appetite was satisfied with awesome samosas, rasagullas, kachoris and cool drinks that were served in the afternoon. These celebrations, to some extent, helped many to fulfil their dreams of looking ‘fair & lovely’.
This extravagant but fun filled use of water by the BIMites forced BHEL water board to take up certain actions that they would not do on normal days. The credit goes to the organising team members who whole-heartedly worked towards making the festivities as enjoyable as possible.
